128 km attorno all'Ortles: La nostra prova del nove sul campo

128 km around the Ortler: Our litmus test in the field

128 kilometers. 8,500 meters of elevation gain. No stops.

For us at Ortles Run, the mountain is not just a landscape to admire or a source of design inspiration: it is our daily testing ground.

This Friday, September 11th at 09:30 AM, we will be back on the starting line in Bormio for the Ortles Haute Trail to complete the full loop around the mountain from which our brand takes its name: the majestic Ortles massif. It is not just a competition, but the true litmus test for the body, the mind, and, above all, the gear. Where every small detail and every millimeter of comfort against the skin makes the difference between crossing the finish line or having to stop.

📢 Extraordinary Closure Notice

To experience, run, and support this immense adventure firsthand, the entire Ortles Run staff will be heading to Bormio.

Our offices and warehouses will be closed for the entire day on Friday, September 11th. Shipments and customer service will resume as normal on Monday, September 14th.

🧪 Open-air laboratory: What we’ll be wearing on our feet

In endurance races that exceed 20-30 hours of continuous walking or running, blister prevention and sweat management are not optional. Here are the two flagship models on our athletes' feet:

Dry Max Socks

Designed to push moisture outward and keep the foot dry and protected from micro-friction even during thermal transitions between night and day.

Air Flow Socks

Lightweight and maximum ventilation thanks to their breathable honeycomb knit, perfect for avoiding overheating on the most demanding climbs.
